The Mousetail Press, a small independent press founded in 2010 in Sonoma, California, publishes fiction, non fiction, memoirs, poetry, history, children's books, and books about art and artists. The press' primary goal is to publish local authors. The first title on the Mousetail Press list, a memoir, can be viewed as an example of the quality of book production that the press intends to deliver to future authors.
The Mousetail Press uses the skills of a professional editor and book designer. It works in close cooperation with potential authors who are contacted at all stages of the work to ensure that the final result meets their expectations.
While The Mousetail Press is prepared to work with authors willing to offer some cooperative subsidy for the production of their books, it intends to follow an editorial policy aimed at publishing only manuscripts of quality.
The Mousetail Press is eager to work with previously unpublished writers. If you have a book in mind or one that is not finished, please contact us.
